AI in Writing

At BioBeacon, we leverage AI to enhance the procurement and refinement of original work created by scientists and writers. AI aids in offering fresh perspectives and exploring new lines of thought, enriching the quality and depth of our content. However, all quotes and perspectives offered by individuals remain unchanged by AI and all articles are approved in their entirety by all contributing individuals. At BioBeacon, we allow scientists to speak for themselves, ensuring their authentic voices are heard.

AI in Images

At BioBeacon, we utilize AI to generate engaging imagery that complements our scientific content. AI helps us create visually compelling graphics that enhance the quality and appeal of our material. However, AI images are not guaranteed to be scientifically accurate, and unless otherwise noted, images should be assumed as such. The use of AI imagery serves to engage readers through intriguing displays, not scientific accuracy.

An example of Scientifically Inaccurate AI Imagery

In an article regarding a new development for a disease effecting the human skeletal system, an AI generated image like that of the skeleton displayed could be used. While engaging, the depiction of the skeleton is not anatomically correct. The most obvious anomaly is the appearance of a sixth finger on the skeletons left hand (right side of the image.) While it is possible for an individual to be born with 6 fingers, as is sometimes present in the case of Polydactyl, the image is not intended to provide an accurate depiction of the human skeletal system.
